1. Who is responsible

Echo 10x (trading as Echo 10X), based in Australia, is the data controller for personal information collected through this website, the Echo 10X server and the store. This means we decide how and why your information is used.

  • Contact form and support messages — name, email, organisation, Discord username and your message. Used to reply to you. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
  • Technical data — IP address, device and browser information and server logs. Used for security, fraud prevention and rule enforcement. Legal basis: legitimate interests.

We do not sell your information and we do not use advertising trackers.

3. Who we share it with

  • Paddle — our Merchant of Record, for selling products, payments, tax compliance and invoicing. Paddle collects your payment details directly; we never see your card.
  • Service providers — website hosting, database and sign-in providers (Discord and Steam), and Google Fonts.
  • Professional advisers — such as legal and accounting advisers.
  • Authorities — where required by law.

Some providers may process data outside Australia; we use reputable providers with appropriate safeguards.

4. How long we keep it

We keep account information while your account is active, and order records for as long as tax and accounting laws require. Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

5. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and restricted access to stored data.

6. Cookies

We only use essential storage needed to keep you signed in and remember your cart. We do not use analytics or marketing cookies.

7. Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Principles (and the GDPR where it applies) you can ask to access, correct or delete your information, object to or restrict its use, or receive a copy. You can also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au) or your local authority. Contact us through Discord or the contact page.
