Build rules

Important limits and requirements for bases on Echo 10x.

4Walls to core
2Frame layers
80Turrets per base
5.5China wall height

01Walls to core

  • Max 4 walls to core
  • Hollow honeycomb counts toward walls to core
  • Excessive half-wall spam also counts toward walls to core
  • Do not use frame spam, fake gaps or similar methods to bypass this limit

02Roof / frame layers

  • Max 2 layers of frames + overhangs
  • Excessive half-wall spam on frames counts toward walls to core
  • Shopfronts, doors or similar placed through roof-frame layers may count toward walls to core at staff discretion
  • Frame layers cannot be used as another full base shell

03Turrets

  • Max 80 turrets per base/area
  • Spreading turrets slightly apart to bypass the limit still counts as the same area
  • Do not spam turrets across an entire grid to bypass the rule

04Cores

  • Inverted cores are allowed
  • TC must be inside the centre ring/main section of the base
  • TC must remain reasonably accessible during a raid
  • If a TC is intentionally made impossible to reach, staff may DQ or remove the base at their discretion

05Main base wall options

  • China Wall
  • C-Wall
  • Anti-Cargo
  • Funnel Wall

Multiple connection points are allowed, but they cannot be used to bypass wall limits.

06China Wall

  • Max height: 5.5 walls
  • Can connect back into the main base
  • Do not stack extra structures above it to fake additional height

07C-Wall

  • Max height: 0.5 wall
  • Frames + chainlink are allowed on top
  • Bottom honeycomb is allowed
  • Must still follow the general walls-to-core limit

08Anti-Cargo

  • Max height: 1.5 walls
  • Max thickness: 2 foundations
  • Cannot be extended into a full second outer base

09Funnel Wall

  • Must be 3–4 foundations
  • Must not be fully connected all the way around
  • Must function as an actual funnel and not a disguised full external wall

10Connections

  • Multiple connection points between approved wall styles are allowed
  • Connection points cannot be used to create extra wall layers
  • Staff may count structures toward the limit if they are clearly being used to cheese the rules

11Height

  • Main base height limit: TBD
  • Once finalized, towers, roof peaks and extra layers will count where relevant

12Externals

  • External TCs are allowed unless stated otherwise
  • Externals cannot be used to create a second full main base around the original
  • Do not spam unnecessary externals purely to make raiding excessively difficult

13Raid access

  • Bases must remain realistically raidable
  • No unreachable TCs
  • No map clipping
  • No terrain exploits
  • No broken building mechanics
  • Edge-case bases may be reviewed by staff

14Rule cheesing

  • Builds that clearly break the spirit of the rules may still be required to change
  • Technical loopholes do not automatically make a build legal
  • Staff discretion applies to edge cases

!!Punishments

Depending on severity:

  1. 01Warning
  2. 02Forced rebuild/change
  3. 03Entity removal
  4. 04Base removal
  5. 05Event or raid DQ
  6. 06Further punishment for repeated abuse

Raiding rules

Rules for raid FOBs, turret placement, defending, and raid structures.

10Cargo FOB width
1Generator per FOB
0Turret towers
50Max merge raid size

Raiding

01Foundation placement

  • Raiders cannot place random foundations away from their FOB just to place turrets.
  • Foundations used for raid turrets must be connected to the raid FOB.
  • Exceptions are allowed for bed platforms and slam-ramp raiding setups.
  • Do not scatter foundations around the raid area to gain extra turret angles or control space.

02Defender external TCs

  • Raiders cannot take over and use the defending team’s external TCs.
  • Defender external TCs cannot be used as part of the attacking team’s FOB or raid setup.

03Turret towers

  • Turret towers are not allowed.
  • Turrets should be part of a legitimate FOB setup and not built into oversized standalone towers.

04Cargo FOB

  • Cargo-style FOBs can be a maximum of 10 foundations wide.
  • Honeycomb is allowed at the back of the cargo FOB.
  • The sides of the cargo FOB cannot be honeycombed.
  • Do not use cargo honeycomb to turn the FOB into a full raid base.

05Slam ramps

  • Slam ramps must only face the defending base.
  • Slam ramps cannot be positioned toward other raiding teams.
  • Do not use slam ramps to grief, block, or interfere with unrelated raiders.

06General raid FOB rules

  • Raid structures should be built for the active raid, not as permanent bases.
  • Do not intentionally abuse FOB placement to block large areas around the defender.
  • Structures designed purely to cheese raid rules may be removed at staff discretion.

Defending

07Generators

  • Defenders may have a maximum of 1 generator per FOB.
  • Generator spam is not allowed.

08High walls

  • No excessive high-wall spam directly in front of or alongside a FOB.
  • High walls can be used normally for defence, but cannot be spammed purely to make the FOB unpushable.

09Turret generators

  • Turret generators must be located outside of the China Wall or C-Wall.
  • Turret generators cannot be connected to an external TC.
  • You may build a turret box behind external TCs, but it cannot be physically attached to the external TC structure.

10Defender turret setups

  • Turret boxes are allowed when used within the intended rules.
  • Do not create standalone turret towers or excessive turret structures designed only to control huge areas around the raid.

General

11Rule cheesing

  • Technical loopholes do not automatically make a raid setup legal.
  • If a structure clearly exists to bypass the intent of the raid rules, staff may require it to be changed or removed.
  • Staff discretion applies to unusual or edge-case raid setups.

!!Punishments

Depending on severity:

  1. 01Warning
  2. 02Forced structure removal
  3. 03FOB modification
  4. 04Turret removal
  5. 05Raid DQ
  6. 06Base/structure removal
  7. 07Further punishment for repeated abuse
